Project Manager

At Create&Fabricate, we are looking for a Project Manager with experience in production, fabrication, and events who can take a creative idea and turn it into a fully executed project from start to finish.
This position will serve as the main point of connection between our clients, creative team, production, operations, vendors, and installation crews. We are looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, and an excellent communicator, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where every project is different.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for keeping each project within scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring the quality standards that represent Create&Fabricate. What You’ll Do
● Manage projects from the initial client conversation through production, installation, and final delivery.
● Maintain clear and professional communication with clients while understanding their needs, expectations, and goals.
● Define project scope and turn creative concepts into clear production and execution plans.
● Prepare and manage budgets, timelines, production requirements, and logistics.
● Coordinate with our design, fabrication, printing, production, and operations teams.
● Review renders, drawings, measurements, materials, and technical details before production begins.
● Identify the best fabrication solutions based on budget, materials, timelines, and internal capabilities.
● Coordinate vendors and subcontractors when required.
● Oversee installations and breakdowns at venues and event spaces.
● Lead the installation crew on-site and serve as the main point of contact for clients, planners, venues, and other vendors.
● Anticipate potential challenges throughout the project and develop effective solutions quickly.
● Manage scope changes and communicate any impact on pricing, production, or timelines.
● Coordinate logistics, transportation, and crew travel when necessary.
● Maintain organized documentation for each project.
● Ensure every project meets our standards for quality, safety, and presentation.
What We’re Looking For
● 2+ years of Project Management experience, ideally within event fabrication, experiential marketing, scenic fabrication, event production, trade shows, brand activations, or related industries.
● Experience working directly with clients and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
● Knowledge of fabrication, production, and installation processes.
● Ability to understand and interpret drawings, renders, dimensions, and technical documentation.
● Experience with tools such as SketchUp, Vectorworks, Rhino, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
● General knowledge of materials, carpentry, structures, printing, finishes, and fabrication processes.
● Understanding of common event production elements such as lighting, AV, rigging, installation, logistics, and venue requirements.
● Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.
● Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to last-minute changes.
● Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to work independently, make decisions, and lead teams.
● Availability to work installations, extended hours, evenings, or weekends when required by project schedules.
● Availability to travel when necessary.
